It was an absolute pleasure to be able to work on this beauty.
It is a 1957 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, one of only fifteen left on the road. We finished it off with a lovely ceramic coat which I am extremely pleased with.
The Silver Cloud was seen as the core product of Rolls Royce’s range of luxury cars and was in production from 1955 until 1966.
Back in 1956 Motor magazine tested a model from the Series 1 range and recorded a top speed of 102 mph, acceleration from 0 to 60mph of 13.5 seconds and fuel consumption of 14.5 miles to the imperial gallon.
At the time that test car cost £5,078, including taxes.
I wonder if it would fetch a little more today?
